Communication Roleplay Workshops

The Purpose:
All high performing teams, regardless of the context, need a safe space to learn, make mistakes, practise and hone their craft - regularly.
Our Roleplay Communication Workshops provide just this.
If you’re looking to affect behavioural change and embed new habits, it’s not enough to simply discuss it and hope that it sticks when you go back to BAU.
Teams need the opportunity to learn through doing.
Anchored to the specific challenges that you’re facing, your team will practise realistic mock scenarios with our exceptional team of roleplay actors as we share individual feedback and expert behavioural and communication guidance.
All of our workshops drive towards raising individual and collective self awareness, self reflection and self management - key competencies for embedding cultures of continuous learning and growth, maintaining high performance.
Our workshops are best suited for teams of 8 to 20 at a time (but can be customised for bigger or small groups) with any level of experience.

We've helped with:
Conflict Resolution
Giving and Receiving Constructive Feedback
Managing different personality types
Navigating challenging meetings
Selling with EQ
Key Performance Outcomes:
Our Roleplay workshops help develop teams that have:
High levels of EQ
We’ll raise the level of self awareness in your team, equipping them with the relevant behavioural science, a shared language to be able to discuss their challenges confidently, and tools to make commitments to change
Techniques for continued practice
Roleplay doesn’t have to be the exclusive reserve of externally delivered workshops. We coach teams to be able to use the technique to support each other moving forward.
Exceptional influencing skills
We’ll develop the ability for your team to be fully present, listen actively and build high levels of trust - the key currency for influence.
A commitment to continued learning and growth
Our workshops establish a precedent for being curious about behaviour, and a template for continued individual and collective self management, establishing a culture of learning and growth - a cornerstone for any high performing team.
“Any team that wants to maintain high performance needs a safe space to try stuff out, get things wrong - maybe horribly wrong - to challenge each other and open up to new perspectives.”
How it Works:
Dive deep:
We hold a deep-dive meeting to discover what challenges your team are facing, from a performance and behavioural point of view.
Inhabit:
We ask you to “download” on us, helping us to build a deeper understanding of your specific context - this is crucial for our roleplay actors to inhabit the world and bring it to life realistically for your team during the workshop. We always make sure that our actors are fully prepared and able to improvise confidently.
Set KPI’s:
We set very clear objectives and build tangible KPI’s to help measure the impact of our work.
Create and Tailor:
Using the information from our “Discovery”, we go about building your bespoke programme. The exact scope and regularity can flex to suit your specific needs.
Deliver:
Our workshops are entirely practical. We recognise that it takes courage to roleplay, so we work hard to ensure we create as safe an environment as possible for reflection and learning. We always drive the team to make practical commitments to change as a result of the learning.
Follow up:
We deliver a follow up report to:
-- reflect back the key takeaways from the session
-- hold your team accountable to their change commitments
-- offer guidance on recommended next steps
Keeping “match fit”
Whilst the above process describes how we put together a programme to tackle a specific challenge, we can also run regular drop-in sessions with your team, helping to embed that culture of learning and growth.
“Complacency is the biggest enemy of high performance. When you think you’ve arrived, you stop moving, stop learning, stop growing.”
