The problem
The profession has been struggling to influence positive change at the top level of organisations.

The Cause
After several, in depth conversations with HSEQ leaders, focus groups and our observations in the field, it became clear that the profession had lost its way somewhat. “We’re going through a midlife crisis.” There appeared to be a lack of clear purpose, pride in what they do and a frustration with how they’re perceived by their organisations. All of this contributed to a defensive mindset, falling back on compliance and regulation and, therefore, a struggle to build trust, communicate with impact and truly influence.

The Solution
We partnered up with Shirley Parsons, a global professional services business in the HSEQ and Sustainability space, to build a movement - “Beyond HSEQ - bringing together the brilliant minds from the profession to challenge, disrupt and make positive, sustainable change.” We collaborate closely with a steering group of HSEQ leaders to deliver impactful content to members, as well as curating regular events - safe spaces to “reflect, rethink and inspire change.”
